Welcome everyone!

This particular Senior on the blog today is my little sister!

We aren’t the typical siblings….I was an only child until we adopted my little sister, Kayla.

For the first 12 years of my life it was just me! I begged my parents for years to have a little sister! We had a few foster kids come through our house but we were not able to adopt any of them. Until…we started fostering Kayla when she was 5 years old. One year later around when she turned 6 we officially adopted her!

Kayla had an extremely rough first 5 years of her life and luckily she came to be a part of our family! We fought a lot throughout the years, but what sisters don’t!? Our 7 year age gap really didn’t help! I will always love my sister and I wish the best for her in life!
